New policy Brief: How Europe’s AI ecosystem is shaping a future built on trust, collaboration, and human-centric innovation

Artificial Intelligence (AI) is transforming the way society looks at industries, cities and public services. However, following the growth in the use of AI, so do ethic values and trustworthy issues rise. The concern turns not to the technology skills, but to the way these systems make decisions, handle data, and sustain human values.

This is the focus of the new policy brief entitled “AI, Your Way: Trusted, Scalable, and Ready to Deliver”, a document that stemmed from a workshop that took place during the AI, Data and Robotics Forum (ADRF) 2025, one of Europe’s leading events dedicated to Artificial Intelligence (AI), data, and robotics.

The session was co-organised by five Horizon Europe projects from the Human-AI Cluster, a European collaboration advancing trustworthy, human-centric, and regulation-ready AI across sectors, namely THEMIS 5.0, TANGO, AI4REALNET, PEER AI, and HumAIne. Together, these projects defined a policy brief highlighting on how Europe’s AI community is turning principles into practice.

The workshop happened on the 23^rd of September and stressed that the future of AI is not about machines replacing people, but about designing systems that enhance human capabilities, along with an alignment with societal values.
