“From Command to Collaboration: Reimagining the Human-AI Relationship – Integrating AI services from research projects to the EU DeployAI platform”

28 January | 11:00–12:30 CET | Online

Artificial Intelligence is rapidly evolving from systems we command to partners we collaborate with. This shift raises critical questions for Europe: how do we design AI that supports human agency, earns trust, and can be responsibly deployed at scale?

This webinar brings together leading EU-funded research initiatives to explore how human-centric and trustworthy AI is being developed, assessed, and translated into real-world applications.

Confirmed speakers:
– Dimitris Apostolou (ICCS)
– Toni Wäfler (University of Applied Sciences and Arts Northwestern Switzerland FHNW)
– Andrea Passerini (University of Trento)
– Vrettos Moulos (University of Piraeus Research Center)
– George Manias (Tilburg University)

Agenda:
11:00 – Welcome & introduction
11:05 – Short project presentations (5 minutes each)
11:30 – Open discussion
12:10 – Q&A
12:25 – Wrap-up & closing

Participants will gain insights into the transition from control-based AI to collaborative human–AI paradigms, practical perspectives on what trustworthy AI means in operational terms, examples of how EU research results are being integrated into deployable solutions, and key challenges and opportunities for designing AI that supports, rather than replaces, human judgement.

Audience: Open to researchers, policymakers, innovators, practitioners, and all stakeholders interested in the future of human-centric AI in Europe

Full recording soon available.
