AI4REALNET extends cooperation in technological development
The AI4REALNET project just signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the ELOQUENCE project, a collaboration agreement that aims to foster a connection between these research programs, enhancing coordination, and identifying mutual interests in the field of Artificial Intelligence (AI).
Through bilateral actions, this compromise promotes cooperation, knowledge exchange, and sharing of best techniques. According to the AI4REALNET manager, Ricardo Bessa, “this is a special opportunity to work with other similar projects, explore results, and share knowledge and experiences, which can be very important for the development of outputs and turning principles into practice”.
Steered by INOSENS, the ELOQUENCE project, which stands for “Multilingual and Cross-cultural interactions for context-aware, and biascontrolled dialogue systems for safety-critical applications”, is pioneering the development of advanced voice/chat bot technologies aimed at transforming unstructured dialogues into comprehensible, safe, and unbiased interactions. The focus is on creating self-learning, adaptable models for diverse languages and use cases, emphasising sustainability and European values, especially in safety-critical applications. By enhancing conversational agents, including partnerships with key European enterprises and deploying in scenarios like emergency services and smart home assistants, ELOQUENCE aims to set new standards in AI, ensuring privacy, bias detection, and empathetic user engagement.
This MoU shows a commitment to work together, drawing a preliminary roadmap for a collaboration, providing clarity on expectations and responsibilities for future discussions.
